Bio: Grew up in NC, moved to Colorado in 2006 working for CO State Parks where I started in Wildland Fire. 2007 moved to Devils Tower Wyoming where I started working for the National Parks both as a Ranger and Wildland Fire. Worked with the Blackhills NPS Fire office as the Fire Coordinator for Devils Tower National Monument for over 10 years. Worked on Type 6 engines, later earning my Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement through a trucker friend. Completed task books for Engine Boss, Heavy Equipment boss. Worked as and EngB in MT, ND/SD, ID, AZ, UT, NE, WY and TX. Heavy Equipment Boss, in CO, UT, and TX. I have worked in scrub/slash, timber and grass fuels. Retired from the Dept of Interior in 2020. Moved to NC for the immediate future to care for aging Mother. My end goal is to return to Wyoming once my family obligation is complete.
